Gentle, affectionate and beautifully social, Elina has a special way of connecting with children, seniors and everyone who enjoys quiet companionship.
Elina is our beautiful F1 Bernedoodle and one of the gentlest girls at Cucciolini Doodles. She has a warm, affectionate nature and a calm way of making the people around her feel comfortable. She loves attention, enjoys being included in our everyday routines and has a softness about her that is very easy to love.
What stands out most about Elina is the way she connects with different generations. She is loving with children, tender around seniors and naturally gentle when receiving affection. She does not need to be the centre of attention to be happy. She is content staying close, sharing a quiet moment and simply being part of the everyday life happening around her.
Families often ask what a loving Bernedoodle temperament can look like in real life. Elina gives us a beautiful example. She can be affectionate without being demanding, playful without being overwhelming and calm when a quieter touch is needed. These are the qualities we value most when considering a future mother for our Bernedoodle puppies in Ontario.
Elina has the kind of temperament that makes us pause and appreciate just how special a dog can be. She is gentle by nature and does not approach affection in a rough or demanding way. She enjoys closeness, responds warmly to kindness and settles comfortably into the rhythm of our home.
Around children, Elina is sweet, patient and affectionate. Children can bring movement, excitement and laughter into a home, and Elina responds with gentle curiosity. She enjoys their company and accepts affection with a calm, loving nature. As with every dog, we still believe young children and dogs should always be respectfully introduced and appropriately supervised.
Elina also has a very special gentleness around elderly adults. She seems comfortable with a quieter approach and can simply sit close, enjoy soft affection and offer peaceful companionship. Her ability to adjust naturally to the energy of the person beside her is one of the qualities we treasure most.
She also has a playful side that brings happiness into our home. Elina enjoys activity and attention, but she also knows how to slow down and share peaceful moments. Her ability to move naturally between playful fun and quiet affection is a wonderful part of who she is.
Elina has grown up within our everyday home environment. She is familiar with normal household routines, conversation, movement, visitors, affection and the different energy that comes with children and older adults. These daily experiences have helped her become socially comfortable without changing the naturally gentle personality that makes her so special.
We believe socialization develops through steady, positive experiences rather than rushing a dog from one situation to another. It means thoughtful handling, kind introductions and allowing confidence to develop at an appropriate pace. Elina has had those opportunities throughout her life.
That same philosophy is part of how we approach our puppies. Families can learn more about the care and planning behind our program through Our Adoption Process and our Health Guarantee.
As a family breeder in Ontario, we look far beyond appearance when considering a parent dog. We want loving temperaments, sound health information, emotional steadiness, social confidence and qualities that may help future puppies become cherished companions.
Elina is part of our program because she brings so much of what we value. She is affectionate, gentle with children and seniors, socially comfortable within our home and loving without being overwhelming. Her temperament is the foundation of our decision. Her health testing, structure, coat traits and compatibility with a carefully selected sire are also considered before any pairing is confirmed.
We do not plan a litter simply because two dogs look beautiful together. Every pairing must make sense for health, temperament, size and coat. Families can review our broader approach on our DNA Tested Doodles Ontario page and follow confirmed plans through Upcoming Litters.
Elina is an F1 Bernedoodle, meaning her parentage combines a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle. These two parent breeds bring different histories and characteristics to a Bernedoodle. The Canadian Kennel Club describes the Bernese Mountain Dog temperament as one of the breed’s strongest assets, while the Standard Poodle coat and breed profile reflect the Poodle traits that may influence a Bernedoodle pairing.
Elina herself is an individual, so we do not assume that every trait associated with either parent breed will appear in exactly the same way. What we can evaluate is the dog in front of us: her temperament, health information, structure, coat and the way she lives within our family.
Families who are still comparing Doodle breeds may also find our Labradoodle vs Goldendoodle vs Bernedoodle comparison helpful.
Depending on the sire selected for a future litter, Elina may become the mother of F1B Bernedoodle puppies. An F1B Bernedoodle is generally produced by pairing an F1 Bernedoodle with a Poodle. This type of pairing may help create more consistent furnishings and a greater chance of lower-shedding coat qualities, although coat type, shedding, size and colour can still vary from puppy to puppy.
Elina’s future Bernedoodle plans are expected for 2027. Once a pairing is confirmed, we will share the expected size range, possible colours, coat information, timing and application details through our Upcoming Litters page.
Responsible breeding begins with understanding the health information available for each parent dog. Elina’s DNA results help guide future pairing decisions and support our goal of reducing avoidable inherited disease. Her listed results are also included on our DNA health testing page.

No affected genetic diseases were reported for the tested conditions listed above. DNA testing is one part of responsible breeding. We also consider veterinary care, temperament, structure, the health of both parents, the suitability of a pairing and the lifelong well-being of every dog in our program.
We do not post complete laboratory certificates publicly because breeding documents can be copied or misused online. Appropriate health information can be reviewed with approved applicants when needed.
Depending on the selected sire, Elina’s future puppies may mature within an approximate range of 25 to 50 pounds. This is an estimate rather than a guarantee, and adult size can vary even within the same litter.
Future puppies may have wavy or curlier coats, furnishings and a variety of Bernedoodle markings or colours depending on the sire and the genetics of the pairing.
Many families search for lower-shedding Bernedoodle puppies in Ontario. An F1B Bernedoodle may have a greater chance of a furnished, lower-shedding coat, but no breeder can guarantee that every puppy will be completely non-shedding or hypoallergenic. Regular brushing, combing and professional grooming remain important.
Colour and coat are beautiful, but they will never be more important than temperament, health and the right home. We want each puppy to be chosen for the love, commitment and companionship that will last throughout the dog’s life.
When we think about Elina’s future puppies, we hope they carry forward the qualities that make her so loved: gentleness, affection, social confidence, playfulness and a natural desire for companionship.
We hope her puppies will grow into companions who can enjoy the laughter of children, bring comfort through quiet companionship, take part in everyday family routines and settle close at the end of the day. Every puppy will be an individual, but Elina gives us a beautiful foundation for the loving Bernedoodle temperament many families are searching for.
Our goal is to raise each puppy with patient handling, age-appropriate socialization, household sounds, affection and careful observation. As puppies grow, we learn which ones are more playful, cuddly, confident, calm or curious so we can help families understand the personalities developing within the litter.
