Elina Will Produce Beautiful F1B Bernedoodles in Tri-Colour, Phantom, Parti, Sable, Brindle, Merle & Rich Warm Colours
Welcoming a puppy into your family is the beginning of a relationship that can last for many wonderful years. At Cucciolini Doodles, we want that journey to begin thoughtfully, with careful breeding decisions, loving early care and plenty of support for the families who eventually take our puppies home.
We are very excited about Elina’s future F1B Bernedoodle puppies planned for 2027.
Elina is our beautiful F1 Bernedoodle and a very special girl within our family. Her gentle nature, intelligence, affection and wonderful social personality are exactly the qualities we value when planning a future litter.
Families interested in Elina’s future puppies are welcome to learn more about our program, follow our upcoming litter announcements and complete our Adoption Application when they are ready to begin the process.
Elina brings so much happiness and warmth into our family. She has a wonderfully affectionate personality, a gentle spirit and a natural sweetness that makes her very easy to love.
One of the things that makes Elina especially meaningful to us is the way she connects with people of different ages.
She is loving with children, wonderfully soft around seniors and content simply being close to those around her. She does not need to demand attention to feel included. Elina is just as happy sharing a peaceful moment beside us as she is taking part in something more active.
She is also intelligent and eager to learn. Elina responds beautifully to training, enjoys interactive activities and has an excellent recall. Puzzle toys, games and other activities that make her think are things she genuinely enjoys.
Her playful side comes alive outdoors. She enjoys long walks, running through open spaces, chasing balls and sticks and simply having fun with the family.
What we love most is her balance.
Elina can enjoy an energetic outing and then come home and comfortably settle into the quieter rhythm of family life. That combination of playfulness, intelligence, affection and calm companionship is a large part of what makes her so special.
At approximately 20 inches at the shoulder and 45 pounds, Elina is a beautiful medium-sized F1 Bernedoodle.
Her appearance is certainly lovely, but it is her kind temperament, intelligence, loyalty and affectionate nature that are at the heart of our future plans for her.
Elina’s future pairing will be chosen with great care, with temperament, health, structure, coat and colour genetics all considered together. Our goal is to complement Elina’s gentle, affectionate nature with the same calm, intelligent and loving qualities we value throughout our Poodle lines.
We never want a breeding decision to revolve around colour alone.
Beautiful markings are exciting, but the qualities behind the puppies are much more important. Temperament, genetic health information, structure, compatibility and the characteristics of both parents are considered together when we plan a litter.
This thoughtful approach gives us a strong foundation for the type of F1B Bernedoodle puppies we want to raise at Cucciolini Doodles.
Elina already gives us a wonderful foundation.
She is gentle, affectionate, intelligent, socially comfortable and loving. She enjoys activity but can also settle beautifully. She likes being part of everyday life and has a particularly lovely way of interacting with children and seniors.
Throughout our Poodle lines, we value the same docile, intelligent, affectionate and family-oriented temperament.
By bringing those qualities together, we are breeding for F1B Bernedoodles with a strong foundation for being loving family companions.
We are looking for qualities such as:
Gentle, affectionate temperaments
Intelligence and trainability
Social confidence
Strong family connection
Playfulness and curiosity
The ability to enjoy activity and then settle
Comfortable companionship around different generations
Beautiful furnished Bernedoodle coats
A balanced combination of Bernedoodle and Poodle characteristics
Every puppy will still develop its own personality. One may be more outgoing, another more cuddly and another a little more thoughtful or relaxed.
Our responsibility is to give each puppy the environment and early experiences needed to help those individual personalities develop confidently.
Health information is an important part of every breeding decision at Cucciolini Doodles.
DNA testing allows us to identify inherited conditions included in a dog’s testing panel and use those results when considering an appropriate pairing.
Elina’s reported DNA results are:
Progressive Retinal Atrophy, PRCD-PRA — CLEAR
Von Willebrand Disease Type I — CLEAR
Von Willebrand Disease Type II — CLEAR
Neonatal Encephalopathy with Seizures, NEWS — CLEAR
Degenerative Myelopathy, DM SOD1A — CLEAR
Degenerative Myelopathy, DM SOD1B — CLEAR
Exercise-Induced Collapse, EIC — CLEAR
Hereditary Cataracts — CLEAR
GM2 Gangliosidosis — CLEAR
These are the results provided in Elina’s existing profile.
DNA testing is valuable, but it is not the only consideration.
We also consider veterinary care, temperament, structure, the health information available for both parents and the suitability of the overall pairing.
That complete picture is much more meaningful to us than simply looking at one genetic report.
Elina is an F1 Bernedoodle, meaning her parentage combines a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle.
When an F1 Bernedoodle is bred to a Poodle, the resulting puppies are generally referred to as F1B Bernedoodles.
The additional Poodle influence can help produce the furnished coats, intelligence and lower-shedding coat characteristics that many families are looking for while maintaining the affectionate qualities associated with the Bernedoodle.
Elina’s future litter will be planned as part of our F1B Bernedoodle program in Ontario.
One of the exciting aspects of Elina’s future program is the beautiful variety of Bernedoodle colours and patterns we are working with.
Elina’s F1B Bernedoodle puppies will be produced in a beautiful selection including:
Tri-Colour
Phantom
Parti
Sable
Brindle
Merle
Red and rich warm-toned combinations
These colour families can also produce wonderfully individual markings.
A tri-colour puppy may have a very different facial blaze or chest pattern from a littermate. Parti puppies can have dramatically different placements of white and colour. Phantom markings can vary in intensity and placement.
That individuality is part of what makes watching a Bernedoodle litter develop so enjoyable.
Colour is beautiful, but it remains only one part of the complete puppy.
Temperament and health will always come before colour in our breeding decisions.
Bernedoodle coats can vary considerably depending upon the genetics inherited from each parent.
Elina’s future F1B puppies will have beautiful furnished coats that can range from soft waves to curlier textures.
A wavier Bernedoodle coat often has a soft, flowing appearance, while puppies inheriting greater curl can develop a coat that more closely reflects Poodle influence.
Individual coats can even change as puppies mature.
That is why we watch each puppy carefully rather than assuming that every puppy in a litter will develop exactly the same coat.
The additional Poodle influence in an F1B Bernedoodle can increase the likelihood of furnished, lower-shedding coats.
This is one reason many families are particularly interested in F1B Bernedoodles.
However, shedding occurs on a spectrum.
No responsible breeder can promise that every Doodle will be completely non-shedding or guarantee that a particular puppy will never affect someone with allergies.
Families with significant allergies should always consider their individual sensitivity when choosing any dog.
Regardless of coat type, Bernedoodles still require regular grooming.
Elina is approximately 45 pounds and 20 inches at the shoulder.
The adult size of her future puppies will be influenced by the size and genetics of the Poodle selected for her pairing.
The expected adult size range will therefore be clearly provided when Elina’s litter pairing is announced.
This allows us to plan her puppies thoughtfully rather than publishing an unnecessarily broad size estimate before the complete pairing is established.
Whether the program is designed around a smaller or medium Bernedoodle, families will be given the expected range for that particular litter.
Bernedoodles can have a wonderfully expressive appearance.
Many have soft, expressive eyes, floppy ears and the distinctive facial furnishings that create the familiar Doodle expression families love.
Their bodies can range from lighter and more athletic to broader and more substantial depending upon the genetics of the parents.
The tail is generally naturally expressive and can be fluffy or well furnished.
Their coats and markings are often the first thing people notice, but good structure is more important to us than simply creating a particular look.
Our breeding decisions take the whole dog into consideration.
One reason families are attracted to Bernedoodles is the combination of companionship, intelligence and playfulness that can come from Bernese Mountain Dog and Poodle ancestry.
At Cucciolini Doodles, however, we prefer to talk about the actual parents rather than assuming every dog will behave according to a breed description.
Elina is the temperament we know personally.
She is affectionate.
She is gentle.
She is intelligent.
She is playful.
She is socially comfortable.
She can participate in activity and then settle close to the family.
These are real qualities we observe in her every day.
Her future pairing will be selected to complement those qualities.
A well-balanced Bernedoodle can enjoy many different parts of family life.
Elina herself loves play, attention and outdoor activities, while still appreciating quiet companionship.
Her personality demonstrates many of the qualities we are breeding for:
Affectionate: She enjoys closeness and family companionship.
Intelligent: Elina enjoys learning and activities that make her think.
Gentle: She has a particularly soft approach with children and older adults.
Playful: Balls, sticks, walks and outdoor play bring out her happy, energetic side.
Social: She enjoys being involved in the everyday activities around her.
Trainable: Elina responds well to training and has a strong recall.
Adaptable: She can enjoy active outings and then comfortably relax at home.
Training begins long before a puppy understands formal commands.
The first lessons are often simple experiences: being gently handled, hearing ordinary household sounds, learning that people are safe and becoming comfortable with new sights, textures and routines.
Our puppies are gradually introduced to age-appropriate experiences as they grow.
Positive reinforcement plays an important role.
We want learning to be something the puppy enjoys.
Short, engaging sessions are usually far more productive than repeatedly asking a young puppy to concentrate for long periods of time.
Training should continue after a puppy goes home.
Consistency between family members helps a puppy understand expectations and develop good habits.
Intelligent dogs need opportunities to use their minds as well as their bodies.
Elina enjoys puzzle toys and interactive games, and we see how much she enjoys figuring things out.
Mental enrichment for a Bernedoodle can include food puzzles, scent games, short training sessions, retrieving games, hide-and-seek activities and learning new commands.
A short mental challenge can sometimes be just as satisfying as physical activity.
The goal is balance—not constant stimulation.
Dogs also need opportunities to relax and learn how to settle.
Bernedoodles generally enjoy being involved in family life.
Daily exercise can include walks, outdoor play, retrieving, exploring, training and other activities appropriate for the dog’s age and physical development.
Young puppies should not be pushed into strenuous exercise while their bodies are still growing.
Activity can increase gradually as the puppy matures.
Elina herself enjoys long walks, open spaces and playful activities while still having a lovely ability to settle at home.
That balance is something we value.
A beautiful Bernedoodle coat requires maintenance.
Regular grooming is not optional for furnished Doodle coats.
Families should become comfortable with brushing and combing from the time their puppy is young.
Areas particularly prone to tangles include behind the ears, around the collar, under the legs, around the chest and anywhere the coat experiences friction.
Professional grooming should also become part of the dog’s normal routine.
The exact schedule depends on coat length, texture and the style the family prefers.
Brushing the surface of a Bernedoodle coat without checking underneath can leave tangles close to the skin.
We recommend learning to brush and comb thoroughly through the coat.
A slicker brush and appropriate metal comb are often useful tools for maintaining a Doodle coat.
Regular maintenance makes grooming much more comfortable for the dog and can help prevent painful matting.
Bernedoodles can be bathed as needed using an appropriate dog shampoo.
The coat should be brushed and checked for tangles before and after bathing.
Tight mats can become even more difficult to manage once wet.
The coat should also be dried thoroughly.
Floppy ears and hair around the ear canal mean Bernedoodle owners should pay attention to ear hygiene.
Families should become familiar with what their dog’s healthy ears normally look and smell like.
Redness, unusual discharge, persistent scratching or odour are reasons to speak with a veterinarian.
Puppies benefit from becoming accustomed to having their paws touched from an early age.
Regular nail trimming prevents nails from becoming excessively long and makes ongoing care much easier.
This early handling also helps puppies become more comfortable during veterinary visits and grooming appointments.
Dental health is another part of lifelong care.
Families should gradually introduce their puppy to having the mouth handled and discuss appropriate dental care with their veterinarian.
Starting these routines young often makes them much easier to maintain throughout adulthood.
Grooming time gives families an excellent opportunity to look closely at their dog.
While brushing, check for redness, irritation, unusual bumps, sore areas, parasites or anything else that looks different from normal.
If something concerns you, your veterinarian is the appropriate person to evaluate it.
Dogs that enjoy outdoor activities can be exposed to fleas, ticks and internal parasites.
Prevention needs vary by location, lifestyle and the individual dog.
We encourage families to discuss an appropriate prevention program with their veterinarian rather than relying on one universal schedule for every dog.
One of the best things a family can do is make grooming part of normal puppy life from the beginning.
Touch the paws.
Look at the ears.
Gently handle the muzzle.
Brush for short periods.
Reward cooperation.
Allow the puppy to become familiar with grooming equipment gradually.
These small early experiences can make professional grooming and veterinary handling much easier later.
Nutrition plays an important role during puppy growth.
Rather than publishing one fixed number of cups for every Bernedoodle, feeding should be based on the puppy’s age, expected adult size, body condition, activity level and the nutritional density of the food being fed.
Puppies generally require more frequent meals when young and transition to fewer meals as they mature.
Families should follow the feeding guidance provided with their puppy and adjust as appropriate with veterinary guidance.
Fresh water should always be available.
Treats are wonderful for training but should remain a small part of overall daily nutrition.
A healthy body condition is more important than automatically feeding the maximum amount listed on a food bag.
The weeks before pickup are exciting.
We encourage families to use that time to prepare their home, choose an appropriate veterinarian, purchase essential supplies and begin thinking about the routines they want their puppy to learn.
Deciding in advance where the puppy will sleep, where meals will be served and where potty breaks will happen can make those first days much more organized.
Our families also receive guidance to help make the transition easier.
Pickup day is one of our favourite moments.
It is the day a puppy leaves the home where its journey began and becomes part of a new family.
We want families to leave feeling prepared—not simply handed a puppy and wished good luck.
Families receive support and important information designed to help their puppy transition successfully into its new home.
This includes:
A Two-Year Health Warranty
Our health warranty provides families with written information regarding the health protection associated with their puppy.
Non-Breeding Agreement
Our companion puppies leave under a non-breeding agreement so expectations are clear from the beginning.
Puppy Information Package
Families receive practical guidance covering important areas of early puppy care, routines, feeding, training, grooming and transition into the new home.
Lifetime Support
Our relationship with families does not end on pickup day.
We remain available when questions arise as your puppy grows.
Cucciolini Doodles Doggie Daycare Access
Our daycare services are available exclusively to families who have purchased a puppy from Cucciolini Doodles.
Puppy Contract & Records
Important information and agreements are organized so families know what they are receiving and what is expected.
Veterinary Examination
Each puppy receives a veterinary examination before leaving our care, and the appropriate veterinary paperwork is provided to the new family.
Microchip
Our puppies are microchipped before going home, providing an important form of permanent identification.
Deworming
The puppy’s deworming history is documented for the new family.
Initial Puppy Vaccinations
Age-appropriate first vaccinations are administered before the puppy leaves according to our veterinary care schedule.
Our puppy families receive access to six weeks of complimentary Petsecure insurance coverage, providing an additional layer of protection during the transition into the new home.
Families receive the appropriate enrollment information and can decide whether they wish to continue coverage after the complimentary period.
We also want the puppy’s first days at home to feel as familiar as possible.
Families receive a supply of the puppy’s current food to help avoid an abrupt diet change during an already exciting transition.
Our take-home package can also include comfort and practical items selected for the puppy.
These can include a scented blanket, toy, leash and collar, bandana, waste bags and other useful items.
The contents can vary, but the purpose remains the same: helping families begin those first days feeling prepared.
Families also receive practical information about topics such as:
Establishing a daily routine
Feeding
Potty training
Crate introduction
Puppy sleep
Grooming
Socialization
Handling
Veterinary follow-up
Helping a puppy adjust to its new family
The first several days are a major transition for a young puppy.
Patience, routine and consistency make a tremendous difference.
Our goal is not simply to produce beautiful puppies.
We want to raise puppies from thoughtfully selected parents and give each litter the time, care, socialization and attention necessary during those important first weeks.
With Elina, we have a mother whose temperament already represents so much of what we value.
She is gentle.
She is loving.
She is intelligent.
She is playful.
She enjoys people of different ages.
She is affectionate without needing to overwhelm those around her.
Those qualities make us incredibly excited about the future of her Bernedoodle program.
Families considering one of Elina’s future puppies are welcome to learn more about our Bernedoodle Puppies Ontario program, review our DNA Tested Doodles, read our Adoption Process and complete an Adoption Application.
Elina’s future F1B Bernedoodle puppies are planned for 2027, and more information about her litter will be shared as the program moves forward.
We are very excited about what Elina will bring to the next generation of Cucciolini Doodles Bernedoodles, and we look forward to sharing that journey with the families waiting to welcome one of her puppies into their lives.
With love,
Carmelina
