Adoption Process at Cucciolini Doodles

Our Adoption Process holds a special place in our hearts as a part of our family. We prioritize spending quality time with them and building a strong bond. Ensuring our puppies’ happiness and well-being is our utmost priority, so we take great care to find the perfect homes for them. We work closely with families to understand their preferences and requirements, such as temperament, size, and coat type, to make the best match for the Puppy and the family.

ADOPTION APPLICATION REQUEST

STEP 1 — SUBMIT YOUR ADOPTION APPLICATION

The first step toward welcoming a Cucciolini puppy is completing our Adoption Application. This helps us learn about your household, lifestyle, previous dog experience, activity level, preferences and what you are hoping for in your future companion.

Completing an application does not guarantee a specific litter, puppy, gender, colour or placement. It begins our review and allows us to determine which breeding program may be suitable for your family.

STEP 2 — APPLICATION REVIEW

Once your application is received, we carefully review the information you have provided. If your application is approved, Carmelina will contact you to discuss appropriate current or upcoming breeding plans and answer questions you may have.

Because breeding plans, pregnancy, litter size and puppy availability can change, final availability is always confirmed personally by Cucciolini Doodles.

STEP 3 — RESERVATION

When an appropriate reservation opportunity is available, approved families will receive the current reservation and deposit information directly from Cucciolini Doodles.

For your security, payment passwords and private payment instructions are not published on our website or provided through automated chat. Please confirm payment instructions directly with Carmelina before sending funds.

STEP 4 — PUPPIES ARE BORN

Once a litter arrives, we keep approved families informed as the puppies begin their early development.

We take the first individual puppy photographs at approximately 10 days after birth. These early photographs allow families to see the puppies while we continue protecting the mother and litter during their most delicate stage.

STEP 5 — FIVE-WEEK PHOTOS, VIDEO & DEVELOPMENT

At approximately five weeks of age, families receive updated individual photographs and video. By this stage, we are also able to share more meaningful observations about the puppies’ development, confidence, sociability, energy and individual personalities.

Puppy selection should never be based on colour alone. We help families consider temperament, lifestyle, expected adult size, coat, activity level and the qualities they are looking for in a companion.

STEP 6 — GUIDED PUPPY SELECTION

Cucciolini Doodles personally guides approved families through puppy selection. Gender preference can be noted, but gender cannot be guaranteed because each litter contains a different number of males and females.

Our goal is to help each family make an informed and comfortable choice while also considering what we have observed about the individual puppies.

STEP 7 — PREPARING FOR HOMECOMING

Before go-home day, families receive helpful preparation information covering feeding, routines, crate introduction, potty training, grooming, supplies and the transition into their new home.

STEP 8 — GO-HOME DAY

Puppies generally go home at approximately eight weeks of age after their scheduled veterinary examination and age-appropriate health preparation.

Each family receives the applicable puppy records, microchip information, health documentation, take-home items and our ongoing breeder support.

The exact pickup date and arrangements are confirmed directly with each family through email.
