Family-Raised Bernedoodle Puppies Raised With Love, Purpose & Heart
At Cucciolini Doodles, every puppy begins their journey surrounded by love, family, and careful attention. Our Bernedoodle program is built around health, temperament, structure, coat quality, and helping families choose a puppy that truly fits their home.
For me, breeding has never been about simply producing puppies. It has always been about raising companions who will become treasured members of their families. Every litter is thoughtfully planned, and every puppy is raised with the kind of daily care, gentle handling, and family interaction that helps them begin life with confidence and love.
Our Bernedoodle puppies are planned for 2027. Families interested in a future Bernedoodle puppy are welcome to learn more, review our adoption process, and follow our upcoming litter announcements as our plans are confirmed.
People often ask what made me fall in love with Bernedoodles, and for me it started with two very special girls: Margaret and Elina.
Margaret, our beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog, has the kind of presence that makes people feel comfortable right away. She is calm, gentle, loyal, and incredibly intuitive. She has always had a way of sensing emotions and quietly offering comfort simply by being close. Watching her with family members, children, and visitors reminded me why the Bernese Mountain Dog is so loved for its gentle heart and loyal nature.
Then came Elina, our beautiful F1 Bernedoodle. Elina brings together so many qualities I love: sweetness, intelligence, affection, playfulness, and a deep connection to her people. She is bright, loving, and eager to be part of family life. She has a joyful side, but she also has a gentle, affectionate nature that makes her a beautiful example of why Bernedoodles have become such beloved family companions.
Margaret and Elina, together they inspired our Bernedoodle program. They showed me the beautiful balance that families often hope for in a Bernedoodle: affection and intelligence, playfulness and calmness, loyalty and emotional connection.
A Bernedoodle is a cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle. This pairing may combine the loyal, affectionate, gentle qualities of the Bernese Mountain Dog with the intelligence, trainability, and coat influence of the Poodle.
Bernedoodles are loved for their family-focused personalities, teddy-bear appearance, soft expressions, and ability to form deep bonds with the people they love. They can be playful without being overwhelming, affectionate without being demanding, and loyal in a way that makes them feel like true family members.
Like all Doodle breeds, Bernedoodles can vary in size, coat type, colour, and personality depending on the parent dogs and planned pairing. That is why we help families understand each litter carefully before applying.
Our Bernedoodle program focuses on thoughtfully planned Mini and Medium Bernedoodles. Exact adult size can never be guaranteed because every puppy is an individual, but parent size and genetics help us provide families with a reasonable expectation.
Bernedoodle Size | Expected Range / Planning Notes | Best Fit For Families Who Want |
Mini Bernedoodle | Margaret’s future Mini Bernedoodle puppies may be expected around 30 pounds, depending on pairing and genetics. | A smaller Bernedoodle companion with a loving, family-focused personality. |
Medium Bernedoodle | Margaret’s future Medium Bernedoodle puppies may be expected around 55 pounds, depending on pairing and genetics. | A sturdy but manageable family companion that is not too small and not too large. |
Elina’s Future Puppies | Elina’s future puppies may be expected around 25 to 50 pounds, depending on pairing, gender, and genetics. | Families looking for a Mini-to-Medium Bernedoodle range. |
Families should always review our Upcoming Litters page for the most current expected sizes, timing, and pairing information before applying.
One of the things families love most about Bernedoodles is their beautiful variety of colours and markings. Depending on the parent dogs and genetics, Bernedoodle colours may include traditional tri-colour, phantom, sable, chocolate, black and white, parti or white markings, and other beautiful variations.
Colour is exciting, but we always remind families that temperament, health, coat type, size, and family fit matter most. A beautiful puppy should also be the right puppy for your home, your lifestyle, and your long-term expectations.
Margaret is our beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog and one of the hearts behind our Bernedoodle program. She is calm, affectionate, loyal, gentle, and incredibly intuitive. She has the kind of temperament that makes people feel instantly comfortable, and she carries the quiet, steady presence that Bernese Mountain Dogs are so loved for.
Margaret represents many of the qualities we hope to preserve in our Bernedoodle program: devotion to family, patience, gentleness, emotional connection, and a loving personality. Her role is important because she brings the Bernese side of the Bernedoodle: the warmth, loyalty, and affectionate heart families often fall in love with.
When families learn about Margaret, they are not just learning about a parent dog. They are learning about the heart of our Bernedoodle program and the qualities we hope to pass on to future puppies.
Margaret has completed DNA health screening as part of our responsible breeding program. DNA screening helps us make informed breeding decisions and gives families more confidence when learning about our parent dogs.
For Bernedoodle planning, breed-relevant health considerations may include Degenerative Myelopathy, Von Willebrand Disease Type I, prcd-PRA, and other health areas appropriate for Bernese Mountain Dog and Poodle-influenced breeding programs. Families can review our DNA Health Testing page for the full details of our health screening approach.

Elina is our beautiful F1 Bernedoodle and a very loved part of our family. She is playful, affectionate, bright, and deeply connected to her people. She has the joyful side families love in a Doodle, but she also has a soft, loving nature that makes her a beautiful companion.
Elina is a wonderful example of why Bernedoodles have become so loved. She combines sweetness with intelligence, confidence with gentleness, and playfulness with affection. She enjoys being close to family and has a personality that makes her easy to love.
Her future puppies may be expected in a Mini-to-Medium range, approximately 25 to 50 pounds depending on pairing and genetics. Families interested in Elina’s future puppies should watch our Upcoming Litters page for confirmed 2027 plans.

Bennie is our handsome deep red Standard Poodle and an important sire in our Doodle breeding program. As a Standard Poodle, Bennie can contribute intelligence, trainability, coat quality, furnishings, curl, and non-shedding to very low-shedding coat potential in carefully planned pairings.
Bennie’s deep red colour is beautiful, but his role in our program is about more than colour. We consider health, temperament, structure, coat expectations, and family suitability when planning future litters.
Depending on planned pairings, Bennie may contribute to our Labradoodle, Goldendoodle, and Bernedoodle programs. Families can learn more about him on our Meet Bennie page and can follow Upcoming Litters for future plans.
At Cucciolini Doodles, health is one of our highest priorities. Every dog considered for our breeding program completes appropriate health screening before being part of planned pairings. DNA testing helps us make responsible decisions and gives families more information about the parents behind their puppy.
Health testing does not replace loving daily care, veterinary support, proper nutrition, or responsible raising, but it is an important part of a thoughtful breeding program. We use testing information to support safer pairing decisions and to help reduce avoidable inherited risks wherever possible.
